RIP Goodfella ….

Ah…. The morning troll of Ebay. I  found something with such little effort I just knew I had to share.  Remember the 1990 award winning film " Goodfellas", starring  Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta as (Henry Hill), a  mafioso turned informant ? Here is the trailer if you need to jar your memory.

The movie " Goodfellas" has always been a personal  favorite. I must admit I could never make it through the movie without cringing at all of the gory mafia hits all while craving home cooked Italian food at the same time.. So many of the scenes had the characters slicing garlic, stirring sauce, making meatballs all while doing jail time.

Well, it turns out Henry Hill was quite the artist.  To my surprise in researching Henry's art, Henry passed away the day after his 69th birthday just recently  ( June 11, 1943 ~ June 12, 2012) . I believe, like most of us, that when we pass  we hope we can leave this life with something memorable about our  lives lived here on Earth. No doubt Henry had lived a notorious life, but I will assume he made peace at the end. With that said, Henry's art will live on for us to ponder, and for him to be remembered. ~ Nadia
